Robin Boadway is David Chadwick Smith Chair in Economics at Queen's University in Canada.  He has served in the past as President of the Canadian Economics Association and Head of the Department of Economics at Queen’s and is currently President Elect of the International Institute of Public Finance.  He is an Officer of the Order of Canada and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. He has been editor of the Canadian Journal of Economics and the German Economic Review and is currently editor of the Journal of Public Economics.  He is on the editorial board for the National Tax Journal, the Canadian Tax Journal, International Tax and Public Finance, and Regional Science and Urban Economics, and is on the Panel for Economic Policy and the Academic Panel for the IFO Institute.  His research interests include fiscal federalism, tax and redistribution theory, cost-benefit analysis and welfare economics.
